BIO
JOHNETTA STRANGE COOPER, a native Houstonian, wants to help accident victims collect what they are due from insurance companies that believe they are solely in business to collect premiums, as opposed to the business of paying valid claims.
Cooper obtained a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a Doctorate Degree from Thurgood Marshall School of Law. She has been engaged in the practice of law for more than 35 years.
For the first 20 years, her primary area of law was Employment Litigation, with extensive experience in handling race, sex and religion discrimination; along with wrongful termination as a result of an on-the job injury.
For the past 15 years, she has successfully concentrated her efforts in the areas of Personal Injury, Elder Law and Estate Planning.
Cooper became a personal injury lawyer because she understands the tactics insurance companies routinely employ, “shifting the blame to the injury victim, refuting the extent or severity of bodily injuries.
She saw how her work could transform the lives of injured accident victims and the satisfaction of helping someone recover their life after an accident or injury.
You cannot fight an insurance company on your own.
